​​STOREFRONT IMPROVEMENTS

​Van Ness Main street works to help businesses with storefront improvements. In recent years, Van Ness Main Street supported improvements to signage, lighting, and the facades of the Italian Pizza Kitchen, Nail Avenue, Thai Pad, and Cut N Edge Barbershop. For the last two years, VNMS has hired DC Windows to help businesses along Connecticut Avenue clean and beautify their storefronts, inside and out. 

This past year, the Design Committee and Van Ness Main Street strongly advocated for the Burger King planned renovation to include a front outdoor patio deck with plantings and the elimination of the existing dated awning.
