Art All Night returns to Van Ness Main Street on Friday, September 29th, 2023, 6-11 PM!
Van Ness Main Street's Art All Night 2023 will be an evening filled with local music, dance, film, art and community all along Connecticut Avenue in Van Ness, Forest Hills and Wakefield from 6-11 PM. And this year, we're excited to announce we've partnered with American University Radio's WAMU 88.5 and DCist to bring you an exciting lineup of curated events and activities you'll only find at Art All Night Van Ness!! 6:00-7:30 - Politics and Prose: Meet the P&P Artist in Residence, Mary Putrasahan for drawing demonstrations along with story time sessions and other kid's activities. 5015 Connecticut Ave.
6:00-8:00 - Gopuff Window Art Launch and meet the artists.
6:00-8:00 - The UDC JAZZAlive trio led by saxophonist Tracey Cutler performs at Flavor Garden Restaurant. Outside at 4400 Conn Ave.
6:00-8:00 - EM Nail and Lash: Beauty Marsh brings her soulful R&B sound. 5012 Connecticut Ave.
6:00-8:00 - Mariachi Sol de America outside at Muchas Gracias. 5029 Connecticut Ave.
6:00-8:00 - Italian Bar hosts Ken Matthews of Laissez Foure Jazz Solo. 5008 Connecticut Ave.

6:00-10:00 - WAMU Yard Sale. Join WAMU/DCist for their very first in-person yard sale! This event features vintage swag including WAMU notebooks, Hot Jazz mugs, 1A water bottles, DCist socks, and more. Outside at 4401 Connecticut Ave.

6:00-10:00 - Ian the Balloon Dude expertly twists balloons into 'awesome sculptures' for you to take home. Outside at the AAN Welcome Table, 4340 Connecticut Avenue.
6:00-10:00 - Chevy Chase Art Gallery Open House featuring local artists, Kiu Kavousi and Karen Tyler; wine, cheese, art sale, live music by guitarist Andrew Grabowski and more at 5039 Connecticut Ave.
6:00–10:00 – Concert in the Rotunda at Park Van Ness featuring Singing Capital Chorus (6-7 pm), Beyond Franklin (7-8 pm), Dream City Brass Band (8-10 pm) and Crush Funk Brass Band (9-10 pm). 4455 Connecticut Ave at the Park Van Ness Rotunda.
6:00-10:00 – Interactive Media Mural for all ages. Canvas panels will form the backdrop for a community message created from Polaroid selfies from all who participate. 4340 Conn Ave (In the Art Alleyway)
